I often get people asking me for MLM recruiting secrets because they feel they are not being told the whole story by their upline.
In fact, a lot of mlm companies are structured like this because they don’t want to swamp their new recruits with too much information. Instead they rather they just jump in and get their feet wet.
This might be a good strategy to a certain extent, but by doing this, these new recruits run the risk of giving up before they’ve really got going. I’ve spoken before about mlm burnout
So in this article I want to give you 5 mlm recruiting secrets to get you up and running as soon as possible.
Here we go …
1. Accept most people won’t want to join
It’s nothing personal, but it’s a truth that the vast majority of people will not be interested in your opportunity.
What are the common reasons?
They are not of the entrepreneurial mindset. They can’t see themselves as someone who can generate their own money. They’d rather work for someone else.
They have heard somewhere along the line that mlm is a pyramid system, and therefore a scam.
Maybe they are already in another mlm company and are happy with what they are currently doing.
Or maybe they will say they haven’t got the time and money to start a new business venture.
So how you can you make money from this majority of people who are not interested in joining your company?
What I do and you can do too is to offer affiliate products.
A person visiting my site may have found it by accident. They might want to start a food blog or a fitness blog. Or like the person below, might want a website for his plumbing company.
This is why I have affiliate links to Bluehost, a hosting company and other resources I use, to make affiliate commissions from visitors who have no interest in mlm but need hosting to set up their blog.
2. Build a blog and get online
As I’ve said many times before, you need to get yourself online. The fact that you’re here now should prove that in this day and age, having an online mlm marketing strategy is the way to go. This really should be at the top of my mlm recruiting secrets tips because it has transformed my business.
But this doesn’t mean you should stop traditional offline marketing tactics.
Both can be used together to make you a top mlm recruiter.
3. Have leads come to you
When you use the power of the internet and combine this with attraction marketing, then you have an awesome formula to build a successful mlm online business.
No longer do you have to rely on making cold calls to grow your business. You can have leads come to you.
4. Don’t come across as desperate
People who are desperate to make a sale are the opposite of those that use attraction marketing. This is the last thing you want to do, and you will have people running in the opposite direction from you.
If you are completely broke, then I don’t think network marketing is something you should do. You should get another job and build up your mlm network marketing business on the side.
You can read about Attraction Marketing here.
5. You need to brand you and not your opportunity
Don’t make the mistake of putting all your effort into promoting your company when it’s you and your business that is the most important factor. MLM business come and go, so make sure you put all your effort into branding you first.
I hope this post on MLM recruiting secrets has helped you.
The biggest takeaway I can give you is to get online and brand yourself. I am daily building the blog you see before you and it’s an asset that’s going to be with me and serve me for the rest of my working life, even when I’m asleep and on vacation.
