When we talk about MLM burnout, we’re traditionally referring to the build-up of frustration caused by not being able to recruit new team members or not being able to sell your company’s products.
It’s a fact that 90% of people throw in the towel at this point and end up giving away the expensive starter pack products they’ve bought to their friends and family as Christmas presents.
But MLM burnout can also be applied to the online world where so many people start a blog with all good intentions building an online business, only to give up after they still see their Google Analytics Flat lining after the first 3 months.
I think the reason this happens is because the majority of people who come into this game are not entrepreneurs.
They’ve had traditional 9 -5 jobs where their boss tells them what to do, they do what is needed and they get a pay check for showing up.
Another reason is because people build their MLM business from home, where it’s too easy to do something else other than build your business.
But if you want to become a serious MLM entrepreneur and avoid MLM burnout for good, it’s vital to think long term and understand that it takes time and persistent effort to build a home business.
If you feel like throwing the towel in, then read my tips first.
Take a Step Back
See where you’ve come from. What have you learned in the last year. I like this snippet I heard from Ray Higdon on one of his training’s. It goes something like this.
“It’s selfish to give up. You are denying single moms who you could be training and inspiring to build their dream lifestyle business.”
Don’t expect that it you will be successful in 3 months because that is very unlikely to happen.
Ignore those you see online making thousands of dollars. For one thing you don’t know who much effort they put in to get there. In the vast majority of cases it’s a lot!

Don’t beat yourself up
I see and hear tons of people saying, if only I had started this thing a year ago, if only I had more time.
You have to accept your situation and work from there. If you’ve got kids and you can only work in the evening when you’re tired, then maybe 3 hours is all you can spend moving your business forward.
Just don’t spend the time on social media, do something productive like write a blog post or shot a video and feel good that you’ve accomplished your work for the day.
Readers are Leaders
Always make time to either read or listen to podcasts and audio books.
Listen to inspirational and related to your niche. They will inspire you and give you endless content ideas for your blog.
“To build traction in your online business, you should be continuously striving to solve problems”
Take time out
Working on your home business can be lonely. Take time out to meet up with friends. You can tell them what you’ve been up to in your business and to bounce ideas off, or just hang out with 🙂
