If you’re building an mlm business, then having a constant stream of leads is absolutely vital to your success.
In this article I am going to show you MLM lead generation strategies which can be used in probably any mlm company.
Offline MLM Lead Generation Techniques
Now many people in the mlm business are told that they should forget about the old offline marketing techniques and concentrate their prospecting on Social Media.
But the truth is that offline techniques are still powerful.
One of my favorites is Networking events which you can find through meetup.com. When you go to one of these, there is a whole room full of people who think the same as you, all looking for ways of improving their lives.
Other ninja techniques I’ve had success with is going to book shop and slipping my card in motivational and business books. Tim Ferris’s 4 Hour Work Week and anything by Anthony Robbins or Robert Kiyosaki are good targets.
Does buying MLM Leads work?
The truth is, I’ve heard it can do but it’s something I’ve never wanted to try. If you currently have very few leads coming in daily and you want to make sales fast, then maybe its something you should try.
My preference has always been to master marketing techniques, which is what I still do every day.
So what does buying mlm leads involve?
Basically someone has put together a list of email addresses of people who have in the past expressed some sort of interest in Network Marketing.
You might be told something about the quality of the leads, but you will be trying to sell to people who have absolutely no idea who you are and will probably ignore you.
These techniques worked back in the 90s when we first had Hotmail accounts and every email we received as exciting. But these days who needs emails from strangers??
When you adopt attraction marketing and know how to market then you no longer have to chase leads, and they come to you 🙂
This is what I talk about now…
Online MLM Lead Generation
While I like offline methods, online mlm lead generation is my favorite.
Because I don’t have to get dressed up and drive to event to meet some people who are complete strangers and may not even be suitable.
We now have Facebook where we can do a complete background check of prospects to assess if they would be interested in our business before we approach them.
We can look in Facebook groups like Anthony Robbins and Robert Kiosaki where we find people who are very likely to be interested in joining our company.
My favorite method of generating leads, which is also Ray Higdon’s is to produce daily content in the form of blog posts that go into the web sphere for ever, passively drawing leads to my website.
When you build a blog you have an online sales marketing machine working for you day and night.
Online MLM lead Generation using Video Marketing
Its quick. You just put yourself in front of the camera and talk. You upload it to YouTube and put the embed code on your blog with a description of what’s you’re talking about.
- Your customers get to see you, like you and trust you.
- As I’ve already said its quicker than writing a 1000+ word blog post.
- When you embed a video in your blog and people watch it, then they are spending more time on your blog which indicates to the search engines that your blog is interesting so consequently gets ranked higher.
By doing this you build yourself a complete online marketing machine which runs all day every day, even when you’re sleeping.
So which MLM lead generation strategies do I recommend?
I can’t recommend buying mlm leads because I’ve never tried it.
What I do is recommend you use offline and online marketing techniques.
Online techniques are far more scalable, but going to meet ups will improve your personal skills.
Also I think its good not to have all your eggs in one basket in case one of your accounts gets shut down. I’ve personally known of marketers having their YouTube accounts shut down causing them to lose hundreds of videos.
So good luck, get out there and start creating content and seeing what meetups are in your area.
